iMTM program hosts ‘Learn How to Learn’ Workshop for iMTM 2nd year students. Our guest speakers, Miss Nisha Nipasuwan is a Senior Specialist of Academy Innovation & Meta Learning in Banking Industry. The purpose of this workshop is to educate students on how to observe and manage their own cognitive and learning processes.
The workshop covers topics such as Neuroscience of Learning, Chunking and Memory, Learning Issues, Brain Hacks That Actually Work, and Competence Illusions. This workshop will equip students with techniques to enhance their metacognitive and self-regulated learning abilities, and teach them how to consciously reflect on their learning. By the end of the workshop, students will have the ability to modify their learning strategies by analyzing how they learn and process information, resulting in improved performance and understanding of the subject matter.
Ending the workshop with special session on Business Etiquette and how to win people over work with another guest speaker, Mr. Anthony Phelps, a British education specialist. This session covers tips on building positive relationships with others in a professional setting, helping students learn how to work effectively with others and make a positive impression on their colleagues. The objective of this session is to show students that effective social skills in business settings are essential for achieving success in one’s career, as they facilitate employability, productivity, and career growth, all of which are often lacking in the modern workplace.
