“Potluck” is a communal meal or gathering where each member contributes a dish or food item to be shared with the group. It is a gathering where members bring homemade dishes such as appetizers, main courses, side dishes, desserts, or beverages to share with others. The variety of dishes brought by different participants adds diversity to the meal, and it is a common practice at social gatherings, parties, and community events where everyone gets to enjoy a wide range of foods contributed by the participants. Potlucks emphasize informality, casualness, and collaboration, allowing people to come together, share food, and experience cultural differences.
