Asia Data Destruction (ADD): Pioneering Secure IT Asset Disposal and Sustainable Business Practices
Corporate visit as part of the Marketing System course
On January 17, 2025, Master’s degree students from the iMBA program at Panyapiwat Institute of Management visited Asia Data Destruction (ADD), Thailand’s first technology asset disposal company. This visit provided valuable insights into secure IT asset disposal, data security, and sustainable business practices. ADD specializes in business data destruction, ensuring compliance with global standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and HIPAA. With a B2B model, the company serves over 500 organizations worldwide, including banks, multinational corporations (MNCs), SMEs, and government agencies.
ADD excels in both on-site and off-site data destruction using software-based wiping and physical methods like shredding and degaussing. Committed to environmental sustainability, ADD ensures proper recycling of unusable devices, preventing environmental harm. The company supports a circular economy by refurbishing and reselling retired IT assets through its sister company, BSL, reducing e-waste and promoting sustainability.
In its marketing strategy, ADD focuses on data security, compliance, and sustainability, leveraging internationally recognized certifications to build trust with clients in highly regulated industries. The company offers value-added services such as the Certificate of Destruction (COD), proving that sensitive data has been permanently erased. ADD also provides carbon footprint reduction reports, helping clients quantify their environmental impact. This commitment to sustainability aligns with the growing importance of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.
By securing long-term contracts, ADD ensures market expansion and customer retention, positioning itself as a leader in sustainable IT asset disposal solutions. The visit underscored the importance of data security, compliance, and circular economy principles in today’s business landscape.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Laurent Landie, Chief People Officer & Chief Strategy Officer; Miss Napa Siriroongngam, General Manager; Mr. Isato Bista, Business Development & Sustainability Manager; Miss Jaruwan Arunwuttipong, National Sales Manager; and Mr. Parwin Wongwongwai, Marketing Manager, for their engaging presentations and valuable discussions.
