On September 26, 2025, Master’s degree students from the iMBA program at Panyapiwat Institute of Management visited the Thai-German Institute (TGI) in Chonburi. This visit offered international students valuable exposure to Thailand’s advanced manufacturing sector and the role of technology in shaping modern marketing systems.
TGI is a leading technology institute providing training, consultancy, and services in industrial automation, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation. With a strong focus on B2B clients, TGI bridges the gap between cutting-edge technologies and industrial applications, serving manufacturers, SMEs, and multinational corporations across Thailand and the region.
During the visit, students observed live demonstrations of advanced production technologies, including robotics, automation, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in optimizing production processes.
These demonstrations highlighted how modern manufacturing integrates innovation not only to improve efficiency but also to deliver technology-driven services to B2B customers.
From a marketing systems perspective, the visit underscored the importance of understanding how technology adds value to the customer journey in industrial markets. TGI’s approach illustrates how AI and digital solutions can enhance customer engagement, strengthen long-term partnerships, and support industries in maintaining competitiveness. Students gained firsthand insight into how marketing in a B2B context relies on trust, technical expertise, and the ability to provide tailored, technology-enabled solutions.
The visit also connected classroom concepts with real-world practices by demonstrating how marketing systems extend beyond promotion and sales to include the delivery of value-added services, customer support, and continuous innovation. This practical experience reinforced the students’ understanding of the dynamic relationship between technology and marketing in today’s industrial landscape.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Thai-German Institute team for their warm hospitality and knowledge sharing. Their guidance allowed iMBA students to deepen their understanding of industrial technology, B2B marketing practices, and the strategic role of innovation in modern business systems. We look forward to continued collaboration with TGI in supporting academic and professional development.
