On 1 April 2026, Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) organized the annual event titled “Songkran Festival: Preserving Thai Cultural Heritage 2026.” The celebration aimed to promote and preserve Thailand’s rich traditions while encouraging student engagement in cultural activities.
Students from the International College actively participated in a variety of competitions, including the Songkran God and Goddess contest, sand pagoda building, and a creative spicy salad (Yum) making contest combined with dance performances. The event was filled with vibrant energy, showcasing students’ creativity, teamwork, and appreciation of Thai culture.
Notably, a representative from the International College achieved outstanding success by winning the Second Runner-Up award in the Songkran Goddess competition, receiving a cash prize of 1,000 THB.
The event highlighted the spirit of unity and cultural pride among students, reinforcing PIM’s commitment to preserving Thai traditions while fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
