On 24–25 September 2025, the International College of Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) successfully hosted the First Meet of students from the Bachelor of Business Administration Program in Modern Business Entrepreneurship (iMBE) and Master of Business Administration Program in International Entrepreneurship (International Program) (iMBA). The two-day event combined fun, teamwork, cultural experiences, social responsibility, and valuable learning opportunities.
The highlight of the program was a company visit to The Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA) and Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC), giving students a first-hand look into digital innovation and global business practices. The group also enjoyed their stay at Ravindra Beach Resort & Spa, which provided a relaxing environment to foster new friendships.
Day 1: Ice-Breaking, Teamwork, and Tradition
The first day began with an energetic ice-breaking activity (paper rock scissor minus one), helping participants get to know each other. Students then joined team-building games at the beach, including Hoop Pass, Balloon Game, and Tank Walk, which encouraged collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
In the afternoon, participants engaged in a garbage collection activity at the beach, reflecting the College’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community service.
The evening concluded with the Bai Sri Ceremony, a traditional Thai ritual of blessing and good fortune. This cultural highlight created a warm and meaningful moment, strengthening bonds among students and faculty members.
Day 2: Learning and Inspiration
The second day centered on personal and professional development. Students were inspired by iMBE Alumni Sharing led by Ajarn Si Thu Phyo, who shared insights from academic and career experiences.
This was followed by an engaging Workshop on Manner Etiquette by Dr. Nusirin Limwirat, iMBA Director, equipping students with professional etiquette skills essential for their future careers.
The First Meet successfully strengthened bonds between iMBE and iMBA students, celebrated Thai cultural traditions, and provided meaningful experiences that go beyond the classroom.
