Asst. Prof. Dr. Veerisa earned her bachelor’s degree and MBA in Finance and International Finance from leading universities in the United Kingdom. She began her career as an investment banker, underwriting shares for companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. In this role, she gained hands-on experience in financial markets, investor relations, and corporate finance. She later transitioned to private banking as a fixed income fund manager, where she managed portfolios for high-net-worth clients with a focus on risk management, long-term returns, and strategic financial planning.

After seven years in the financial services industry, Asst. Prof. Dr. Veerisa transitioned to higher education and joined Chulalongkorn University, where she spent a decade as the founding program director of the international Bachelor of Arts in Economics (EBA). She led curriculum development and fostered leadership and global competencies in students, contributing to the program’s academic excellence and building strong international partnerships with top universities. During this time, she also earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from a Swiss institution, further enhancing her expertise in strategic leadership and global business.

Since 2013, Asst. Prof. Dr. Veerisa has been with the Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM), where she currently serves as Dean of the International College. Her academic and administrative leadership is guided by a forward-thinking philosophy that emphasizes agility, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the development of practical, real-world skills. With her combined experience in both corporate and academic sectors, she bridges leadership theory with business practice, enabling learners to strengthen their self-awareness, team leadership, and communication skills in today’s complex, cross-functional workplace.

Her deep knowledge of finance allows her to simplify core financial concepts. Her courses provide a practical foundation in areas such as financial statements, budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis for decision-making, while also highlighting the critical role finance plays in negotiation and internal communication. Through her teaching, Asst. Prof. Dr. Veerisa empowers professionals with the mindset, leadership capability, and financial acumen needed to drive team performance and make effective business decisions in today’s rapidly evolving environment. Recently, she successfully led the relaunch of a modern business curriculum focused on developing in-demand skills for future leaders.
